YouTube launched an offline feature in India



Video sharing website Youtube on Thursday launched an offline viewing service to help users download videos they can watch later, to overcome handicaps posed by low bandwidth and high costs of data plans.
Under the service, which went live in India, Indonesia and the Philippines today, a user can click on the special icon on the site when she is either in a wi-fi zone or a place with good data connectivity, and download a video which can be watched later.

WhatsApp introduce blue ticks to let users know when messages are read


Mobile messaging service WhatsApp has reportedly come up with a new " double blue tick" feature that allows users to know when their texts have been delivered and read.

The blue tick appears as soon as the person at the receiving end has read the message.

5 million Google usernames, passwords leaked online



After Apple's high profile iCloud fiasco, Google is the latest cybercrime victim with Russian hackers posting usernames and passwords of close to five million Google accounts online.

The list was posted on bitcoin forum btcsec.com by a user called Tvskit.

The user claimed that about 60 per cent of the passwords are still active.

Facebook addiction can leave you lonely, depressed
