Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal Ends up Being a Huge Flop at the Box Office

Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal made about 5.60  Crores in its 1 week run at the domestic box office. The movie now joins the flop list of 2012. Though a lot was never expected of the film, the makers definitely wanted it to perform way better than what it did. It’s nothing less than a box office disaster.


Priyadarshan seems to have failed to rekindle his luck at the box office. Distributors will be the ones to suffer the most under these circumstances especially because the movie won’t even last another week at the box office.


Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal had made an opening day collection of  1.25 Crores proving to be an epic disaster. It was expected that the movie might grow on Saturday and Sunday if the movie was to achieve a respectable box office number.

Come Saturday and the movie made an approx 1.50 Crores at the domestic box office. Having released on over 900 screens the makers can’t even complaint of no screen space. The movie is plane simple not emerging as a commercial beneficiary. Needless to say Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is on the way to the list of epic flops in 2012.

The movie’s total domestic box office collections as of now is 2.75 Crores. From the looks of it, even in the best of circumstances the movie won’t make more than 4.75 Crores in its opening weekend.

The movie seems to have also released overseas and guess what it sure will hold some record for making 20 Lacks at the overseas box office.

Comedy+Priyadarshan=Hit seems to have died out and people seem to have lost interest in the practically similar Priyadarshan movies. After Tezz this is another huge blow for the legendary director. Wakey Wakey Priyadarshan!!! Try looking for a fresh story.
