The Most Embarrassing Thing in Mila Kunis’ Closet

Everyone has that old, broken-in pair of jeans, that pair of worn-out sneakers, or some other favorite wardrobe item she just can't bring herself to throw away.
For Mila Kunis, that embarrassing but beloved piece of clothing is an affordable one not unlike what many of us had in our closets … back in the '90s.

"I've been wearing the same pair of dark green Old Navy cargo pants, like, non-stop, for 15 years," she confesses in the new issue of InStyle.
"I think I paid $4.99, on clearance. My friends hate them so much they hide them from me. When those pants fall apart, I swear I'm going to get someone to copy them for me."

Kunis, who's now 29, would have had to buy the pants in 1998, when she was just 14, if she's really had them for that long. Don't you think anyone would need a bigger size after transitioning from a young teenager to an adult woman? Of course, in the 1990s baggy clothes were the norm. We were all so cool, weren't we?!

Whether Kunis was exaggerating or not, we do know that she's had those pants for at least six years. She was photographed sporting them back in 2007, when she was dating her longtime boyfriend Macaulay Culkin.

Nowadays, Kunis is usually photographed in more fashionable fare while out and about with boyfriend Ashton Kutcher, or attending the red carpet premiere of one her movies, even though she still has those terrible (but comfy!) pants.

She probably wished that she was wearing them on the set of her March movie "Oz the Great and Powerful," but no such luck.

Try on Mila's Hairstyles

"I spent a lot of the shoot in a leather corset, wired up in a harness, and flying around in a costume that weighed 10 pounds," she told the magazine about her experience shooting the film, which co-stars her longtime friend James Franco. "I hear some women enjoy wearing a corset, but tell them to try 17 hours of that and then get back to me.” She did get a little downtime, though. “I went to the zoo and the museum, and I shot a bunch of short films with James Franco in which I played a zombie. It was crazy!"
