mars. seeking to consolidate its worldwide media planning at a single agency, is awarding that business to MediaCom after a review that came down to the WPP agency and incumbent Starcom, sources said.
The media planning work is currently handled by eight agencies including Starcom, which handles the bulk of it, and at others like OMD and Carat. Starcom will continue to handle most of Mars' media buying business.

A French inventor, who has been working for the past eight years on making farts smell better, has claimed that his newest creation makes farts smell like chocolate.
The 65-year-old Christian Poincheval's Lutin Malin, which translates to "crafty imp," is a line of pills that help ease digestion and make farts smell like roses or violets, the Mashable reported.

China hospital gives men chance to experience pain of childbirth

A hospital in eastern China is offering fathers-to-be a chance to experience the pain of childbirth after several new moms complained they got little sympathy from their partners.

Free sessions are held twice a week at Aima maternity hospital in Shandong province and about 100 men have signed up to be tortured. Most are expectant dads but there are thrill seekers too among the volunteers for "taster sessions"

Sir Chris Chataway: Former British 5,000m world record holder dies
Former British athlete Sir Chris Chataway has died at the age of 82.
Chataway, who broke the 5,000m world record in 1954, is more famously remembered as the man who helped pace Sir Roger Bannister to breaking the four-minute mile barrier the same year.
He was named the first-ever BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 1954.
Chataway, who also won the Commonwealth Games three miles title in 1954, was knighted for his services to the aviation industry in 1995.

Danielle Fishel poses for Maxim: 'Hello, it's Topanga'

She talks about Bob Saget, Ben Savage and that name, Topanga. Topanga never looked like this on 1990s sitcom Boy Meets World.But Danielle Fishel is 31 now and posing on the cover of Maxim magazine.
In the interview, Fishel talks about the show, which was part of a TGIF block of programming on ABC, as she prepares to co-star again with Ben Savage, who played Cory on the show, for an updated version, Girl Meets World.
