Celebs laud RGV's 'The Attacks of 26/11'

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, despite a series of flops, criticism and controversies, has managed to impress members from Telugu film fraternity, who watched his latest film "The Attacks of 26/11".
The film, on the terror attacks which rocked Mumbai Nov 26, 2008, released worldwide Friday. It features Nana Patekar, Sanjeev Jaiswal, Atul Kulkarni, Ganesh Yadav and Farzad Jehani in lead roles.

Parag Sanghvi has produced the film, which has been dubbed in Telugu as "26/11 India Pai Dhadi".

Certain members of Telugu film fraternity took to Twitter to share their views on the movie. Here's what they wrote:

Actor Charmi Kaur: Just saw 26/11. I have no words but lots to express.

Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh: Still reeling in the patriotic hangover after watching the terrific emotional saga 'The Attacks of 26/11'. Who else on the Indian movie arena can dare to venture and narrate it to the levels of such emotional excellence but RGV? Al-Qaeda will never let its members watch this movie for it will sure transform its terrorists into humanitarians.

Actor Subbaraju: Just watched 'The Attacks of 26/11', amazing film. Watching movies like this amazes me, how updated and contemporary is the classic text book of film making called RGV.

Actor Madhu Shalini: Saw 26/11 last night. Brilliant film. RGV at his best and my favourite Nana Patekar has delivered another outstanding performance. I just can't get over the movie. Want to watch it again!

Writer Kona Venkat: RGV has proven once again that he is the master of realistic cinema.
