According to the NBC broadcast, Kowalczyk was skiing with a broken foot. It didn’t appear to hold her back in the women’s 10km classic competition. She won with a time of 28:17.8, edging out Sweden’s Charlotte Kalla and Norway’s Therese Johaug.

Good start for Noelle Pikus-Pace

Skeleton heats started, and after two runs, Noelle Pikus-Pace is in second place. Katie Uehlander is in medal contention, took, sitting in fourth place heading into tomorrow’s final heats.
