Glee: Did anyone else choke up in tonight's heart-wrenching episode of Glee? Despite the fact that the New Directions only snagged a second place at Nationals, our WHMS students gave us three brilliant
performances on the show choir stage that honored Finn Hudson (and subsequently Cory Monteith's) absence from the competition. We were especially choked up when Carole Hudson-Hummel, who was chaperoning the event with her husband Burt, reflected that the glee club's final performance felt "like the last of [Finn] leaving, too."
Although we were bummed that Rachel, Santana and Kurt could not make it, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Ryan Seacrest made a brief, yet oh-so random appearance at Nationals as well. The New Directions just could not compete with Throat Explosion, lead by Pitch Perfect's Skylar Astin, and their jaw-dropping performance of "Mr. Roboto" Unfortunately their second place trophy means that Sue followed up on her beginning-of-the-year threats and pulled the funding for the glee club.
