Justin Timberlake announces comeback album in open letter to fans

London: Justin Timberlake, who has been teasing his fans over the past week over the unveiling of his first new music in six years with single ‘Shirt and Tie’, penned an open letter as well as a bunch of new songs to explain his ‘long awaited’ comeback.

The new single, which is complete with a special guest appearance from the legendary Jay-Z, is already number one in 12 countries after 10 hours of being available for download.

“This year is an exciting one for me. As you probably have heard through the “grapevine,” I’m gearing up for a big 2013,” the Mirror quoted him as writing.

“Back in June of last year, I quietly started working on what is now, my next journey with that thing I love called MUSIC.

“I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs. It was probably the best time I’ve had in my career… Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind and really enjoying the process.

“It is full of inspiration that I grew up listening to and some newfound muses that I’ve discovered along the way,” he wrote.

The 31-year-old singer revealed the name of his new album and everyone in the world did a celebratory victory dance.

“I’m calling it “The 20/20 Experience,” and it’s coming out this year. Get ready. This is going to be fun (well, at least it is for me),” he added.
