Why did Nargis Fakhri cry?

Actress Nargis Fakhri paid her obeisance at the famous Andheri Ka Raja Ganapati here, but the atmosphere moved her to tears.

"I'm very emotional and I think that being here (Andheri Ke Raja Ganapati) is such a blessing. I am so grateful because I have always been interested in lord Ganesha and I am such a firm believer in god, in all his forms," Nargis said here Friday.


But what made her cry?

"I think when I am in such a space where it's so spiritual and so strong...," she said.

Asked what she prayed for to lord Ganesha, Nargis said: "I never really ask for anything for myself. All that I ask him is that (he should) shower his blessing on all of us and bring us happiness and prosperity".

Nargis debuted in the Hindi film industry with the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer "Rockstar" recently.

Nargis Fakhri is a half Czech- half Pakistani model. New York-based Nargis, 21, was featured in the 2009 Kingfisher swimsuit calendar. 

 The media had suggested that the Imtiaz Ali had chosen the her as the female lead in his new movie Rockstar.
